Needless to say I am way behind reporting on the progress of Fritz. He is doing extremely well and has many new experiences in the past two months.

Some of his Highlights are:

1) Can’t stay out of the water! Fritz is a natural born water dog. He loves to swim almost as much as he loves to retrieve. Put the two together and we wind up with one tired and happy puppy at the end of the day.

2) Fritz is coming along well with his field commands. He is learning that “Whoa” really does men “Whoaa”

3) There is no mistaking his instinct to find live birds. He’s been working with live birds for the past two months and is really coming together with his nose and trusting that the bird is really there, even if the wind changes and bit and makes him think twice.

4) This crazy little dog loves gunfire. If he hears a shot he wants to look for what fell down so he can go get it.
