We’re back from our trip to North Dakota.  Meant to post updates while we were there but time and internet access were limited.

Fritz loves his homeland.  Only to to eat, sleep, and hunt. Makes for a happy dog.

Had great duck activity the first two days we were there.  Then a front came through and ducks were very scarce for the rest of the week.  The roosters didn’t dissapoint though.  With reports that the hatch was off from last year we can definately say, we didn’t see that.  A good thing for both man and dogs.

Joey D his Ellie, and “Father Flatch”(aka Joe M…) accompanied us out this year.  Good company, good dogs.  As always we love the experience on the prairies.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to see Gary and Deb this trip.  Did talk on the phone about a new little brother for Fritz though.  So that’s progress and a story for another time.
