Things have been slow here on the Jersey coast.  We haven’t hunted much.  Between really lousy weather, just torrential downpours of rain the past few days we wanted to get out and Fred fighting the flu not much fun has been had.

We did fix a problem.  Realized that we overwrote the 2007 Gallery by mistake.  It has been restored.

Fritz and I had the pleasure of sharing the morning with Walt and Brain Lafay.  Brian as many of you know is a top notch waterfowl guide here in NJ.  He operates as Reedy Creek Outfitters.

Brian had warned me that Fritz might be scared of him as he had his winter fuzzy face on.  As you can see he and Fritz actually looked a lot alike so they got on fine.

We had a great hunt.  Good times, good points, lots of shooting and the father and son team even managed to hit a few for Fritz.  Must admit he was getting a bit upset there for a while but they managed to turn it on.

Hopefully we can all get together again soon.  Fritz and I enjoyed the company of these two fine outdoorsman very much.

It’s been a crazy week professionally for Fred so Fritz hasn’t had much time to go out and play with birds.

I’m sure if all goes well we will more than make up for it this weekend.
