Well I think the boys and I are getting back on track. Had a great outing last night and in turn the boys slept well and were just so nice last night.

A tired wirehair is a happy wirehair.

We were back up early this morning for our sunrise service. Had a nice long walk through the woods while the boys had fun chasing each other. Otto is still so inquisitive. Every bush, bird and squirrel is a new game.

So after a long difficult year for us I think we are seeing the calm peek through the storm.

The boys had a great time doing retrieves and then just puppying around. It is such a pleasure to watch them play in the water. Fritz is so tolerant of his playfully little brother it even surprises me sometimes.

Looks like we are actually going to have a couple cool mornings and evenings the next few days. We are going to take advantage and get some field work in.

The boys need the workout and hopefully Ill get some sanity out of the outdoors we love so much.

It was a very pleasant day in South Jersey today even though I had to work. Then again the picture below is the view from my office so I shouldn’t complain too much.

Well after complaining that it did nothing but rain for the month of June now we have moved to hot and sticky.

The air here in Jersey has just been Hot and Muggy. The boys are just running outside to do their business and heading back in for the conditioned air.

Most of our training sessions the past week have been here at home. Otto doing well with whoa, he is a retrieving nut and loves the water. The mornings are supposed to be cooler towards the end of the week. We are going to get out for some field work and hopefully a track or two.

Be well all!
