This website is going to follow the life and times of Fritz, a German Wirehaired Pointer. We’ll follow him through puppydom and on through adulthood, watching, listening, and displaying all the wonders that are a new dog in the family.

Fritz was born January 13th, 2006 in Washburn, ND. He is a product of Dakota Wirehairs, the kennels of Gary and Deb Arbach. These folks have been doing Wirehairs since 1976. 30+ years of experience and breeding have culminated in turning out some fine dogs for the foothunter.

I can easily say that Fritz came to me as one of the smartest and most biddable puppies I have ever had the pleasure of sharing my home with. He is a true testament to the hard work and love that Gary and Deb have put into their kennel. Watching Fritz up to this point, seeing his natural instincts develop, and his general good demeanor I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a hunting Wirehair drop Gary a line. If listening to Gary’s good nature and obvious love for his dogs doesn’t convince you, seeing one in action surely will.
